Tom Kurys practises all areas of intellectual property law. Tom’s practice focuses on IP litigation and trademark prosecution. Tom is also a registered trademark agent and a registered patent agent. 

Tom has represented clients in the Ontario Court and the Federal Court in cases covering a wide range of industries and IP subject matter. He has also been counsel in cases before the Trademarks Opposition Board and the Competition Tribunal. Tom’s trademark practice involves filings, clearance opinions, opposition and cancellation proceedings, and enforcement.

Tom was the recipient of the Bereskin & Parr Prize in Trademark Law and in Patent Law for having achieved the highest academic standing of his class while earning his Juris Doctor at Osgoode Hall Law School.
