Naomi Metcalfe practises intellectual property law, specializing in patent and trademark litigation.

Naomi has experience advising on intellectual property rights and vulnerabilities. She works with clients in a variety of industries including those in the life sciences, technology, and commercial sectors. Her work assisting clients in the life sciences industry is complemented by her scientific degree in the same.

Naomi completed the J.D. program at the University of Western Ontario in 2014, where she received the Bereskin & Parr Award in Industrial and Intellectual Property for demonstrating exceptional academic ability in the subject. Prior to attending law school, Naomi obtained a BSc.H. in Life Sciences (Research Option) from Queen’s University, graduating with distinction. As an undergraduate she was involved in research projects with both medical and industrial applications.
