David Nathanson, Q.C., is one of the country’s foremost tax litigators.

His practice extends to all aspects of tax and related corporate matters, particularly tax planning, real estate, tax litigation and resolution of tax disputes.

David’s roster of clients includes large multinational corporations as well as owner-operated enterprises. He frequently represents clients before all levels of court and has extensive experience advising on taxation aspects of reorganizations, mergers & acquisitions, financing, debt restructuring and transfer pricing.

David often assists clients in settling tax disputes directly with the Canada Revenue Agency or the Department of Justice.  Where matters do not lend themselves to settlement, or the tax authorities prove intransigent, David assists his clients in proceeding to litigation.
