About

Robert O'Connor has broad experience in property acquisition, development, financing and leasing. 

Robert has represented a major downtown developer in the acquisition, financing, permitting, development and disposition of a 31-story office tower in Boston's financial district. He has also represented the developers of a 1.3 million square foot regional shopping center in financing, leasing and operational matters. 

Robert's work includes the representation of national REITs in acquisitions and dispositions of multi-family properties in Massachusetts and throughout the United States. Robert has negotiated leases on behalf of landlords and tenants for office, commercial and industrial space, including a recent 300,000+ square foot corporate office lease to an information technology company and a 80,000 build-to-suit lease for medical offices. 

Robert oversees the leasing program for a portfolio of suburban office and laboratory properties totaling over three million square feet.

Pro Bono

Robert provides pro bono legal representation to a local nonprofit organization that provides services for underserved homeless women. In 2009, the Quincy Community Action Program honored him with an Extra Mile Community Award, in recognition of his pro bono work that helped the organization purchase a new building for its Head Start Program.
