Amy Pressman is a partner in the Toronto office and practises in the areas of civil and commercial litigation and environmental law. 

Amy advises clients in a broad range of industries relating to commercial and environmental disputes. She has particular expertise in complex claims involving product liability, environmental contamination, fuels safety, and transportation. Amy also regularly represents clients in matters relating to misrepresentation, breach of contract, fraud, termination of employment, and has experience seeking and opposing injunctive relief. Amy also has experience assisting clients with product recalls.

Amy has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario, including the Ontario Court of Appeal. She has also appeared before the Federal Court of Appeal, the British Columbia Supreme Court and the British Columbia Court of Appeal.

For a number of years, Amy has acted as an instructor at the “Lawyer as Negotiator” law school course at Osgoode Hall Law School in addition to presenting at a number of industry events and conferences.

In 2012, Amy was selected as a Litigation Lawyer to Watch in Lexpert®’s 2012 Guide to the Leading US/Canada Cross-border Litigation Lawyers in Canada.
