Wajiha Rais focuses her practice in the area of technology and telecommunications.

She works on a wide range of regulatory issues on behalf of companies subject to the jurisdiction of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Among other things, she has assisted domestic and foreign companies in understanding and meeting the requirements of FCC regulations and policies, including preparing compliance plans and assisting companies with meeting obligations that arise out of consent decrees negotiated with the agency. Another key focus of her practice is representing industry actors in FCC rulemaking proceedings. Wajiha has assisted wireless telecommunications clients, including a major industry trade group, in preparing comments and other informational submissions in such proceedings as the allocation of spectrum for 5G wireless broadband.

She is also a published scholar who researches and writes in the area of Public International Law. Educated in North America, Europe, South Asia and the Middle East, Wajiha brings a global perspective to the table.
