Marshall Taylor has been lead project counsel for a significant number of independent power projects, representing developers and owners in the development, ownership, financing, construction and operation of independent power plants both in the United States and Europe, including negotiation of power purchase agreements representing power sellers in the negotiation of power purchase agreements with utilities in multiple jurisdictions and has also represented utilities in the negotiation of specific power purchase agreements with independent power producers. 

Marshall's experience has included projects utilizing all type of fuels, including solar, wind, coal, hydro, geothermal and gas. He has also participated in litigation at the state and federal level in connection with the enforcement and validity of power purchase agreements.

His clients have included lenders, developers and owners, contractors and investors participating in projects at all stages, including taking a project from an idea to successful completion and sale.

Marshall has served as an expert witness in several litigation matters involving both real estate and partnership agreements.
