Yin “Lily” Zheng is experienced in counselling employers on global and US workforce management issues, as well as defending employers in US litigation matters. 

Lily advises multinational companies on overseas and global employment issues, including employment agreements, global policies and procedures, non-compete and proprietary information agreements, workforce restructuring, employment termination and severance issues. She also advises employers on issues that arise in cross-border transactions. Lily is a native speaker of Mandarin Chinese and has a particular focus on employment issues in Asia Pacific. 

Before joining DLA Piper, Lily was an employment associate in the Silicon Valley office of another top-tier international law firm for four years, litigating discrimination, harassment and retaliation lawsuits and wage-and-hour class action lawsuits in California federal and state courts.  In her previous experience, Lily also advised employers on employment issues in California, including wage-and-hour compliance, employee termination and workforce reduction.  At DLA Piper, Lily continues to provide US domestic employment counselling and transaction support for clients.
