  • Advising a Chinese state-owned corporation on its circa USD 1 billion acquisition of 49% of the share capital of an Omani electricity transmission company, as part of the partial privatisation of the electricity sector.*
  • Advising a listed cement company on its USD 60 million acquisition of a local cement factory.*
  • Advising an international engineering and consultancy firm on Omani aspects of its USD 4.6 billion acquisition of a global technical services division.*
  • Advising a listed insurance company on its merger with another listed insurance company, a significant transaction for the Omani insurance sector.*
  • Advising a leading international energy company on the development of a renewable power project (wind and solar) to produce green hydrogen in Oman, including project development and regulatory matters.*
  • Advising a major Omani bank as issuer on multiple issues (Rights Issue, Private Placement, Tier 1 Perpetual Capital Securities, and Redemption of Capital Securities) and on prospectus, corporate, and regulatory issues.*
