Camilo Alonso focuses his practice on providing strategic advice to national and international clients on financial regulations and on the development and implementation of technological innovations in various industries. His experience includes projects related to FinTech, payment systems, cryptocurrencies and blockchain.

Camilo knows the regulatory framework and its interpretation, allowing him to effectively guide clients regulated by the Financial Market Commission (CMF) in their interactions with this entity. His advice includes compliance with regulatory obligations, record registration and other administrative processes.

In FinTech and payment systems, he has led the registration of companies in the Financial Services Providers Registry administered by the CMF and developed internal policies and procedures aligned with international standards. He has also contributed to the design of terms and conditions for the provision of innovative financial services and the development of projects based on blockchain and cryptocurrencies.

Additionally, he has a solid track record in corporate law, providing comprehensive advice to national and international clients on capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, asset purchases, corporate governance, corporate reorganizations, and civil and commercial contracting.

  • A distributor of sodium sulfur batteries in negotiating a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), a Supply Agreement, and a Master Service and Maintenance Agreement for developing energy storage projects in Chile
  • A company that offers to scan the iris in exchange for cryptocurrencies, in review of the Terms and Conditions for a new application they are developing, formulating practical recommendations of use and modification of language to fully comply with consumer protection regulations
