Alvaro Alsina advises asset managers and institutional investors across the alternative investment industry. His work focuses on the structuring, formation and ongoing operation of alternative investment funds, with particular experience in private equity, real estate and debt strategies.
He assists clients with the creation and implementation of a range of Luxembourg fund vehicles, including SIFs, RAIFs and unregulated partnerships. Alvaro also regularly advises investors on their commitments to alternative funds, guiding them through reviews of constitutional documents, side letter negotiations and subscription processes.
More recently, Alvaro worked at a Berlin‑based private equity investment platform, gaining first‑hand exposure to product development and investor‑side considerations. This dual perspective strengthened his understanding of both fund formation dynamics and investor expectations within the alternative investments market.
