Ioana is an experienced member of our Real Estate team who has been particularly active in assisting energy sector clients on various real estate matters related to the development and acquisition of renewable energy projects. She acts as a trusted point of contact for clients navigating the intersection of real estate law and energy development, often leading key workstreams in this area.
Her experience in traditional Real Estate transactions and due diligence processes coupled with her in-depth knowledge of the permitting specificities and land rights requirements for renewable energy projects play a key part in her assessment of the potential risks and available solutions in transactions involving renewable energy capacities.
Apart from her constant involvement in energy related matters, Ioana had key roles in complex transactions (including cross-border), with a core focus on risk identification and due diligence. In addition to her work in transactions (and due diligence), Ioana has a hands-on approach also on day-to-day tasks enabling clients to identify root causes, possible alternatives and take the corresponding informed decisions.
She also advices both landlords and tenants during the full lifecycle of office lease agreements, actively focusing on the clients' needs and requests.
Selected experience includes advising PNE on permitting and securing of land rights for renewable energy projects, PPF Real Estate on lease operations, a Romanian developer on due diligence and permitting.
