Mabel Baratech Diaz

Mabel practices in the area of international trade law, advising on all aspects of trade remedies investigations (anti-dumping, anti-subsidy, and safeguard procedures), sanctions and WTO law-related matters.

Before starting at DLA Piper, Mabel obtained her LL.M. in Globalisation and Law (specialization International Trade and Investment Law) and has worked previously in International and EU Trade law, EU Competition law and project management in other international law firms in Brussels. During her studies, she was also a research assistant in her university’s Center for Global Economy and Geopolitics, EsadeGeo, chaired by Dr. Javier Solana, former EU High Representative for Common Foreign and Security Policy.
