Federico Barbàra

Federico Barbàra has been assisting institutional investors and developers, both Italian and international, for many years in real estate transactions of all types, including acquisitions, disposals, development and enhancement projects, real estate portfolios, real estate funds, real estate companies and asset management activities, as well as in transactions of varying levels of complexity, including asset acquisitions through loan purchases, restructurings and insolvency proceedings, and partnership and joint venture agreements.

He also has significant experience in real estate-related matters, including the restructuring of real estate funds and companies, construction and development contracts, litigation, hotel lease and management agreements, and photovoltaic projects.

Federico is a Partner in the Real Estate department based in the Milan office. Before joining DLA Piper in 2024, he worked at leading international and Italian law firms.
