Margaux Bia is a human rights lawyer at DLA Piper. She practices in the area of public international law and human rights with a particular focus on access to justice, the rights of displaced people and children’s rights at the European and international level.
Her clients include international and local NGOs, Universities and their law clinics, the UN agencies and the government, social entrepreneurs and institutions of developing countries.
Margaux is managing and developing key pro bono projects across Continental Europe to serve the unmet legal needs of the community. Her projects focus on the promotion of access to legal information, assistance and the representation of vulnerable groups such as asylum seekers, stateless people and refugees in domestic and European courts.
Before joining the pro bono team, Margaux worked as a commercial lawyer for three years in Brussels.
