Pro Bono

In addition to his employment law practice, Ivan is actively engaged in various pro bono matters. Ivan has successfully assisted individuals seeking asylum in the U.S. and assisted nonprofit groups in the DACA renewal process.

Ivan also provides pro bono employment law counsel to various non-profit organizations. 
 

Prior Experience

Ivan was a 2022 Summer Associate at DLA Piper and joined DLA following his graduation from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. While in law school, Ivan worked within the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s Mediation Unit. Ivan was also a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Lisa G. Beckerman in the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York and prior, he worked as a Legal Intern with the Innocence Project where he assisted individuals in advancing their wrongful conviction claims.

Before law school, Ivan also worked as a Legal Advocate at a New York City Public Defense Organization.
