He assists these clients with the review and negotiation of investment documentation, including limited partnership agreements, side letters, transfer agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.

Prior Experience
Prior to joining DLA Piper to focus on investor representation, Dan was a partner at a mid-size Texas law firm, where he provided outside general counsel representation and served as a trusted advisor in corporate governance matters, securities offerings and investments, commercial contracts, and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to that, Dan was in-house counsel, vice president and head of legal operations for a global investment firm with over $500 billion in assets under management.
