Patricia is a brand protection lawyer with extensive experience helping clients build, exploit and rationalise portfolios of trade mark and design rights around the world. She works with clients across a broad range of industries, including technology, consumer goods & retail, media, sport & entertainment.
In addition to traditional branding she helps clients protect the design of innovative products and packaging, as well as other key brand elements such as colours, sounds and moving images.
Patricia also handles related clearance work, disputes and contentious proceedings. She has significant experience of complex opposition and cancellation proceedings, and has represented a number of high profile clients at hearings before the UKIPO and the Appointed Person.
Patricia also has experience in relation to certification marks, geographical indications, domain name disputes, customs recordals & seizures, company name disputes, and copyright.
