Eric focuses his practice on commercial disputes and litigation, including the representation of market-leading insurers in sophisticated insurance matters involving M&A transactional liability and professional liability coverage.
Eric's insurance practice extends to matters involving high exposure claims under representations and warranties insurance and various forms of professional liability insurance issued to corporate directors and officers, investment banking firms and other professionals. Eric has addressed a variety of issues raised in post-acquisition M&A claims, including issues involving alleged breaches of representations about the profitability and financial condition of the acquired company, the condition and adequacy of acquired assets, undisclosed liabilities, regulatory matters, customer relationships, intellectual property and tax liabilities. Eric also regularly addresses a wide range of complex insurance coverage issues raised in D&O and professional liability claims.
Eric has experience both litigating and arbitrating these issues as well as successfully advancing them for clients in the context of mediation and other pre-litigation resolutions of disputes.
