EXPERIENCE

  • Leading on the procurement of transitional technology services for the National Grid Electricity System Operator during its divestment from the National Grid group and establishment as the National Energy System Operator - a public entity designated by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) as the 'independent system operator' under the Energy Act 2023. This transition stands as a milestone for  the UK's energy industry and its journey to net zero.
  • Commercial and contractual support for key Energy and Utilities clients, including oversight of a restructure of business operations for a major international energy and aviation client.
  • Advising a multi-national technology company on core technology and manufacturing projects including the outsourcing of application development services and the creation of global contracting templates.
  • Leading on a business-critical IT outsourcing to IBM of mainframe hosting & storage, telecommunications and network security functions for Allied Irish Banks, p.l.c. 
  • Seconded to an global provider of digital payment solutions with responsibility for implementing the contractual separation of business units in compliance with financial regulations. 
  • Advising the Singaporean and Malaysian operations of banking clients on the licensing of business-critical enterprise software and commercial licence terms.
