Before she joined DLA Piper, Emma worked at a major AmLaw 100 international law firm, where she represented clients in various sectors such as healthcare, energy, and education. She maintained an active pro bono practice, helping secure asylum for her clients. Prior to her admission to private practice, Emma served as an extern for the Honorable Virginia A. Phillips in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
