Insight Overview
Neil has written more than 40 articles and books on a variety of subjects in various legal journals. One of his recent articles won a 2014 Burton Distinguished Legal Writing Award.
Bylines
Teaching
Since 1983, he has taught civil trial practice, trial advocacy, settlement negotiations and deposition practice for the Maryland Institute for Continuing Professional Education of Lawyers and currently teaches continuing legal education courses for the Maryland State Bar Association. He is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Maryland School of Law and at the University of Baltimore School of Law.
Military Experience
From 1973 – 1977, Neil served in the US Navy as a lieutenant in the Judge Advocate General's Corps.
