Kate Driver is a senior associate in the financial services and funds management team and has recently returned from London. She has over 10 years' experience acting for a broad spectrum of sponsors and fund managers, with a particular focus on the establishment and operation of private equity and venture capital funds, as well as other alternative asset classes including secondaries funds. Kate has advised leading European and international sponsors on the formation of large-scale investment platforms.

  • Lead associate advising London based fund manager on establishment of a further vintage of its flagship secondaries fund.
  • Lead associate advising London based fund manager on establishment of successive vintages of its flagship venture capital funds and various co-investment vehicles. 
  • Advising European fund manager on negotiations with marquee investors in its flagship private equity fund. 
  • Advising London based fund manager on establishment and launch of its core infrastructure fund and various segregated managed accounts.  
  • Advising London based asset manager on investment of pension funds into offshore PE funds, including carrying out funds due diligence and risk analysis. 
  • Advising major Australasian financial services firm on transition of the business into the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013 regulatory regime.
