Beverley Ensor is a Legal Director based in Sheffield, with more than 15 years' experience advising on complex and sensitive legal matters.

Beverley supports clients across a broad range of sectors, including retail, manufacturing, hospitality and tech, on a range of contentious and non-contentious issues.

Beverley has particular expertise in litigation matters, including the defence of complex and high-value tribunal complaints, as well as High Court claims, including claims for injunctive relief. Other key areas of focus include conducting investigations, large-scale restructures, often with an international element, senior executive exits and guiding clients through challenging employment issues.

She is recognised for providing clear, pragmatic and commercially focused guidance, supporting clients and colleagues with professionalism, discretion and sound judgement. EXPERIENCE

  • Acting for an energy services company on an application for a springboard injunction against multiple defendants. This was a significant piece of litigation that successfully prevented individuals from obtaining an unfair competitive advantage and resulted in a large costs award in the client's favour.
  • Acting for a leisure industry client on a contentious C-suite exit, including the defence of proceedings with a value in excess of GBP10m.
  • Acting for a tech client in respect of its employment litigation matters, including high court proceedings.
  • Acting as investigator for a retail client into allegations of wrongdoing against several directors.
  • Advising a leisure industry client on a wholesale restructure of its operations, impacting a significant portion of its global workforce. This included supporting collective consultation issues across multiple UK sites and coordinating the cross-border aspects.
  • Supporting a hospitality client on the outsourcing of its finance function.
