Thorstein Eradus advises, negotiates and litigates on behalf of a broad spectrum of clients in the domains of commercial contracts and intellectual property. Additionally, Thorstein increasingly advises pharmaceutical companies on (cross-border) regulatory matters. Thorstein has a creative and solution-oriented mindset, able to take a pragmatic approach.

During his training years, Thorstein has also been part of DLA Piper Amsterdam's Real Estate practice. In that time, he has also gained experience in disputes pertaining to commercial real estate.

  • Litigation for well-known alcoholic beverage producers in related to trademark infringements such as counterfeit and product tampering.
  • Preparation of a cross-jurisdiction class action for a pharmaceutical company regarding product liability claims regarding medical devices.
  • Advising a dairy company in a cross-border copyright dispute.
  • Due diligence on commercial agreements in corporate mergers and acquisitions.
  • Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, including the renegotiation and drafting of a large-scale distribution agreement for a major paints and coatings company and the negotiation and drafting of a contract for a food processing technology company pertaining to a production line in the Middle-East.
  • Advising various pharmaceutical companies on Dutch pharmaceutical laws and regulations, including advise on clinical trial agreements.
