Mac Ferguson focuses his practice on complex global sourcing and technology transactions.

He advises established and emerging companies on technology transactions, outsourcing, and other commercial transactions, including information technology outsourcing, business process outsourcing, and intellectual property licensing, development, distribution and procurement.   He represents customers and providers in cloud computing transactions, such as software as a service (SaaS) arrangements, and in the deployment of new technologies, including blockchain.

Pro Bono

During his career, Mac’s pro bono practice is mainly focused on providing access to educational resources to underprivileged communities.

Prior Experience

Prior to joining DLA Piper, Mac provided legal and business counsel to clients of all sizes in a variety of contexts, including negotiating commercial transactions, and providing support for both day-to-day legal matters and company-wide projects and iniatives for these clients.
