Ben represents middle-market private equity funds and their portfolio companies in a variety of complex business transactions, including leveraged buyouts, add-on acquisitions, recapitalizations, and divestitures.

Ben’s practice focuses on advising private equity funds and their portfolio companies in the execution of their roll-up strategies. He works closely with a team of specialists to solve the structuring, tax, regulatory, and other legal challenges that his clients encounter in their mergers and acquisitions activity and serves as a repository of those solutions for their application in the future. Ben’s clients appreciate his understanding of the variety of transactions in the middle market and his ability to negotiate deals effectively and efficiently across from other international law firms and local attorneys alike.

Ben has extensive experience in the healthcare, food and beverage, and business services industries. In healthcare, he has a deep understanding of physician practice management platforms supporting specialties such as anesthesia, dentistry, dermatology, ophthalmology, oral surgery, orthodontics, otolaryngology, and radiology.
