Jennifer is a senior lead lawyer in our Employment Group and she has a wealth of experience of the employment issues in the financial services and retail sectors. Jennifer's capabilities include advising on and co-ordinating international re-organisations, negotiating the employment aspects of complex outsourcings, advising on the application of regulatory requirements in the financial services sector to all aspects of the employment lifecycle and assisting clients in solving industrial relations issues.

Jennifer also advises clients in the insurance, hospitality and leisure and technology sectors.

In addition, Jennifer completed a six month in-house secondment to a leading global bank.

EXPERIENCE

  • Following a global share sale exceeding $2 billion, co-ordinating international advice and advising on issues arising from integrating two competitors' businesses, including large scale restructurings across EMEA, complex issues arising from employees co-working and intra-group mergers
  • Advising a leading insurer on the employment aspects of the digital transformation and outsourcing of its core claims processing activities
  • Advising an international banking institution on the implementation of the extension of the Senior Managers & Certification Regime, including adapting existing HR processes and procedures to incorporate the certification regime and practical advice on the impact of the regime to recruitment
  • Advising a FTSE 100 client on industrial relations issues, including the enforceability of their collective agreements and consulting and negotiating with the unions regarding key changes to terms and conditions across the workforce
  • Defending high value and complex breach of contract litigation in the county court and high court
  • Advising multiple clients in the financial services sector on the implementation and application of the applicable Remuneration Codes, including drafting the necessary provisions and protections in employment contracts, remuneration policies and offer letters
