About

Christina Houston chairs the Delaware corporate, alternative entity and legal opinion practice of DLA. Her practice focuses on transactional and litigation advice on all aspects of Delaware law, including entity formation and deal structuring, governance matters (including ESG and public benefit considerations), mergers, divisions, restructurings, dissolutions and liquidations. Christina is a leader of DLA's work on Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs), and she is a leader of DLA's blockchain and emerging technology services.

Christina is a member of the Partnership and Limited Liability Company Committee of the Corporation Law Section of the Delaware State Bar Association, which is responsible for annually reviewing and updating Delaware's partnership and LLC statutes. Christina also is a current leader of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association as a member of the Section’s Council. Christina is actively involved in leadership on the Legal Opinions Committee, the LLCs, Partnerships and Unincorporated Entities Committee and the Professional Responsibility Committee of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association. She is the immediate past Chair of the LLCs, Partnerships and Unincorporated Entities Committee of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association, and she is the current Chair of the Opinion Issues in LLCs Subcommittee of that Committee. She is the current Executive Editor, Legal Opinions and Ethics, of Business Law Today, and she is a member of the Board of Advisors of the Professional Responsibility Committee.

Christina is a member of the TriBar Opinion Committee. She also is a member of the Working Group on Legal Opinions Committee and a member of the editorial board of The Business Lawyer.
