Mary Hagedorn represents commercial real estate investors and developers on a wide range of transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, financings and leasing of commercial properties.

Mary has a diversified practice, with experience advising clients on transactions involving single assets as well as large portfolios, and spanning a variety of asset classes, including multi-family, office, industrial, life science, data center, mixed use and retail centers.

Mary's experience includes representing:

  • A real estate fund in the formation of multiple joint ventures for the development and ownership of properties in major metropolitan areas, including New York and Los Angeles
  • An institutional real estate investor in its US$155.5 million sale of an office and retail property in Washington D.C. and its US$81 million sale of a retail shopping center in Phoenix
  • A Boston-based real estate investment firm in its acquisition, disposition, leasing and financing work around the country, including its acquisition and related financing of a $118 million portfolio comprised of 11 office buildings
  • A non-US institutional investor in connection with the restructuring of a venture owning an office building valued in excess of US$1.2 billion
  • An institutional real estate investor in its US$91 million acquisition of a multi-family asset in Denver, CO
  • A real estate fund in various financings of industrial and retail assets located throughout the United States
  • Various landlords and tenants in connection with the negotiation of office, data center and retail leases
