Ben Imdieke

Ben Imdieke is Of Counsel in DLA Piper's Real Estate practice. Ben focuses on data centers and digital infrastructure, complemented by a significant industrial assets practice. His broader practice spans assets classes and the full lifecycle of complex real estate investments.

Ben advises developers and operators, institutional investors, hyperscalers, technology companies, and private capital on complex real estate transactions, particularly those involving technology-driven and rapidly evolving industries.

Leasing is a core strength of Ben's practice. He structures and negotiates data center campus and build-to-suit transactions, data center and industrial leases, building conversions, ground leases, colocation agreements, integrated development and leasing arrangements, and related power and operational matters. His experience includes large-scale headquarters and campus leases, acquisitions, dispositions, development, joint ventures, financing, construction and development arrangements, power-related real estate matters, and portfolio and platform transactions.

Ben received his J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif and a contributing editor of the Michigan Journal of Law Reform. He earned an M.A. in Philanthropic Studies from Indiana University and a B.A. in Political Science from Kalamazoo College.
