About

Katarzyna specialises in banking and financing transactions. Her extensive experience includes advising on bilateral and syndicated loans, project and infrastructure finance, structured finance, and acquisition and corporate financing in a variety of sectors. She also advises clients on margin loans, PTO financing and private debt transactions.

Katarzyna represents financial institutions, private equity funds, and corporate entities in structuring and negotiating bilateral and syndicated facility agreements governed by Polish and English law in domestic and cross-border transactions.

She has been recognised as one of the leading banking and finance lawyers in Poland in the recent editions of Chambers Global 2025 and Chambers Europe 2025 and as a recommended lawyer for banking and finance by The Legal 500 EMEA 2024.

  • Advising a group of lenders in connection with financing the acquisition of the largest deepwater container terminal in Poland.*
  • Advising one of the leading Polish banks as arranger, facility agent and security agent in connection with the syndicated term and revolving facilities agreement for, among other things, financing the acquisition of shares in the Group and its German subsidiaries, and subsequent acquisitions of Irish and US companies, as well as the making available of additional financing by a private debt fund.*
  • Advising two leading banks as lenders and mandated lead arrangers with respect to the term and revolving facilities for financing the acquisition of shares in a beauty and personal care company.*
  • Advising a syndicate of banks in connection with a PLN 2bn revolving credit facility for a major Polish energy company; this was the first ESG-linked financing in Poland and the CEE region.*
  • Advising a leading international bank, acting as the original lender, arranger, sustainability loan coordinator, and facility coordinator, in connection with a EUR 120m ESG-linked revolving facility for a major Polish energy company.*
  • Advising a consortium of banks in connection with a PLN 790m revolving facility made available to the largest operator of medical laboratories in Poland.*
  • Advising a leading Polish bank in connection with term and revolving loans granted to a railcar leasing company, the acquisition and refinancing of railcars, as well as additional financing and loan syndication.*
  • Advising a group of banks in connection with a EUR 48m term facility and a PLN 400m revolving facility granted to a Polish coking plant.*
  • Advising a syndicate of banks as mandated lead arrangers and lenders in connection with a revolving facility for a leading Polish wholesale distribution company.*
  • Advising a leading Polish bank in connection with a USD 450m term facility for a major Polish metals and mining company to finance its general corporate purposes.*
  • Advising a leading Polish bank on a USD 700m credit facility for a Chilean mining company, a joint venture involving a major Polish metals and mining company and Japanese corporate partners.*
  • Advising a consortium of financial institutions in connection with a facility agreement exceeding PLN 5bn to finance one of the largest and most complex projects ever implemented under the project finance formula in Poland.*
  • Advising a consortium of financial institutions in connection with financing the construction of a delayed coking unit and accompanying installations at a major oil refinery in Poland, as part of one of the most significant project finance transactions in the country.*
  • Advising a leading port operator in connection with financing the development of a new container terminal in one of Poland’s largest seaports.*
  • Advising a group of lenders as mandated lead arrangers in connection with construction, investment, and revolving facilities made available to a Polish energy company for financing the construction and operation of a power station, as well as for general corporate purposes, including the acquisition of CO2 emission allowances.*
