About

Anna Jarczok has more than 10 years of experience in advising on financing transactions, with a particular emphasis on the real estate sector. 

She acts for lenders and borrowers in various types of domestic and cross-border financing projects, and while her main focus remains on real estate finance, she also has extensive experience in project finance and corporate finance. 

Anna supports other DLA Piper offices, being responsible for Polish law advice on complex cross-border and multi-jurisdictional deals, and she regularly conducts training sessions for clients both in Poland and abroad on all aspects of financing.

EXPERIENCE

  • Advising Erste Group Bank on the financing of the acquisition of a portfolio of logistics centres by an international investment fund.
  • Advising Elite Capital Partners on financing the acquisition of five warehouse buildings of approximately 200,000 sq. m. in a logistics centre near Warsaw.
  • Advising ING Bank Śląski on financing the acquisition of a portfolio of warehouse and logistics centres in Poland (Sparta portfolio).
  • Advising Berlin Hyp on financing the acquisition of an office project in Łódź (Przystanek mBank).
  • Advising Raiffeisen Leasing Polska on the international securitisation of operating lease receivables. The transaction included the issuing of floating rate secured bonds worth PLN 636 million by an Irish special purpose vehicle and the granting of a subordinated loan of PLN 332.9 million.
  • Advising Citibank and Bank Handlowy on the international securitisation of leasing receivables held by Getin Noble Bank. The transaction included the issuing of bonds by an Irish special purpose vehicle.
  • Advising Blackstone on refinancing a significant portfolio of logistics assets located in CEE (including Poland).
  • Advising a leading Austrian bank on a project to introduce a reverse factoring service.
  • Advising a leading wind turbine manufacturer on debt refinancing and financing the acquisition of shares in an energy company.
  • Advising a leading Polish construction company on financing the construction of the District Court building in Nowy Sącz in the PPP model.
