K. Brian Joe

Brian represents clients in a variety of commercial and technology-related transactions, frequently in the context of strategic sourcing/outsourcing and procurement matters.

He drafts and negotiates complex commercial agreements, including multi-service information technology- and business process outsourcing contracts and software as a service (SaaS)) and other cloud services agreements. Brian advises on issues that arise during all phases of the contract lifecycle, from preparation of contract templates and playbooks to ongoing vendor management, where he assists clients to develop solutions for disputes and other challenges that arise post-execution.

Brian has significant experience with facilities management outsourcing arrangements (both domestic and multi-national) and in transactions for data center services, providing guidance to both customers and vendors in deals ranging in size from single-rack colocation installations to hyperscaler deployments in dedicated facilities.
