Lewis Jones is an employment lawyer who advises employers across a variety of sectors, including Technology, Financial Services, Retail, Hospitality, Leisure and Manufacturing.

Lewis's practice involves assisting with employment tribunal disputes, workplace investigations, managing international people related projects, employment contact and policy reviews, settlement agreements and corporate due diligence. Lewis also supports clients on a diverse range of advisory queries in relation to employees, and has experience managing Data Subject Access Requests.

Lewis has particular experience supporting on tribunal claims against multi-national companies, relating to complex issues such as discrimination, harassment and whistleblowing. Lewis also has particular experience in disclosure exercises, having undertaken a secondment into an international investment bank within their Privacy Legal Team, and has obtained a wide exposure to employment tribunal proceedings.

Lewis is also a Local Lead for Horizons, DLA Piper's social mobility People Network, and has been a mentor through the Head Start initiative, which supports talented young people who face social, economic or cultural barriers to entering and succeeding in the legal profession.

  • Supporting on Employment Tribunal proceedings for a Fortune 500's UK entity, defending complex claims involving unfair dismissal, discrimination, harassment and whistleblowing.  
  • Successfully supported a global market leading chemical distribution company in defending against Employment Tribunal Proceedings at Final Hearing. 
  • Supported on an unlawful deduction of wages and breach of contract workstream for a hospitality and leisure sector client, concerning over 200 employees.
