Lauren Kelly

Lauren Kelly is a member of the Litigation, Arbitration & Investigations Group. Her practice focuses on ‎regulatory compliance, investigations, and competition law, with a particular interest in the food and ‎beverage industry. Raised on a fourth-generation potato farm, Lauren brings a personal interest in the ‎sector to her legal practice.‎

Lauren advises clients on a range of regulatory matters, including consumer product recalls, packaging ‎and labelling, permitting, environmental regulation, and matters involving tariff rate quotas. She has also ‎assisted in responding to Canadian Food Inspection Agency inspection reports and other regulatory ‎inquiries.‎

Lauren assists counsel with Competition Bureau inquiries and investigations and advises clients on ‎misleading advertising and marketing laws. Lauren also has experience assisting senior counsel on ‎national security reviews under the Investment Canada Act.‎

Lauren received her J.D. from the University of Alberta, where she served as Treasurer of the Sports Law ‎Association. Before law school, she completed a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the ‎University of British Columbia. Lauren summered and articled with the firm before joining as an associate in ‎‎2025. ‎
