Folkert Kerckhoffs

Folkert practices and specialises in direct and indirect real estate transactions, real estate (re)development, real estate finance, and real estate structuring. He advises domestic and international clients on commercial and residential real estate matters, including acquisitions and dispositions, sale-and-leaseback transactions, portfolio deals and real estate structuring.

Folkert has experience in multi-party transactions involving the creation and transfer of rights in rem, such as rights of superficies, leasehold rights, and apartment rights.

Folkert also has experience in real estate finance, advising lenders, borrowers, and sponsors on mortgage-backed lending, and refinancing transactions.
