Fouad Khayat
AssociateFouad Khayat is an associate of the IPT department's litigation practice.
He advises French and foreign companies both in commercial litigation (contractual relationships, civil liability, deceptive and unfair commercial practices, misleading and unfair commercial practices) and in IPT litigation (counterfeiting, defamation, liability of technical intermediaries, IT projects litigation).
He represents clients at all stages of litigation proceedings before the civil and commercial courts; in addition to assisting clients resolve disputes through out-of-court settlements.

Prior Experience
- Before joining DLA Piper, Fouad had several experiences, as a trainee, in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution departments of several International and French business law firms.
- In 2021, Fouad Khayat was a Lecturer in Private law at the University of Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas, as part of Professor Denis Mazeaud's team.
