About

Sabine Kimmich advises on all regulatory aspects relating to the provision of investment services, banking activities and payment services under both German and European rules and regulations. She has a particular focus on market access issues for third country entities, scope of action under the EU passporting regime and corresponding licensing issues.

Sabine regularly advises on MiFID II-issues, in particular on investor protection and conduct of business matters, as well as on the set-up and pertinent organisational and compliance requirements for the (digital) provision of investment services.

She also has a strong focus on the regulatory requirements applicable to investment funds and to depositary banks and global custodians under the AIF/UCITS regulation, including the developing regime for the investment in and custody of crypto assets and crypto-securities.
