Paweł Korniluk advises both Polish and multinational clients from a variety of sectors on corporate income tax (CIT), personal income tax (PIT) and VAT.

He provides support in the planning of international and domestic tax structures, drafts legal opinions, and prepares requests for individual interpretations of tax legislation.

Pawel also advises on issues related to withholding tax, transfer pricing and family foundations, as well as participating in due diligence reviews.

  • Advising Atmos Ventures on the USD1.08bn share-for-share swap between Oxford Ionics and Ion, including cross-border tax structuring for fund managers in Poland, the US, UAE and UK;
  • Advising Enterprise Investors on a EUR58m investment in eTravel S.A and taking a 77% stake in Formeds;
  • Advising the shareholders of Inter-Turbo sp. z o.o. on the tax aspects of the sale of their entire stake in the company to Budweg Caliper A/S, a subsidiary of BBB Industries, LLC;
  • Advising GetInData | Part of Xebia shareholders on the acquisition of GetInData | Part of Xebia by Xebia Grouup;
  • Advising clients on tax aspects of employee incentive plans, including those based on tokens; 
  • Advising clients on the tax aspects of business transactions, including share sales and acquisitions, as well as share exchanges;
  • Advising clients on the tax aspects of corporate reorganisations, including mergers, demergers, restructurings and liquidations as well as sales and acquisitions of OPE;
  • Comprehensive advice on family foundations; 
  • Assisting energy intensive companies in obtaining refunds for the increase in gas and electricity prices;
  • Advising foreign clients in preparing their transfer pricing policies.
