Ana Kuri represents financial institutions and debtor companies in respect to national and international credit facilities, structured finance, project finance and restructurings, as well as corporations and private equity funds.

She has experience in real estate transactions focused on the hotel, industrial and housing areas, representing owners, landlords and tenants.

Ana additionally advises national and international clients in relation to their data protection obligations, including in the preparation of their privacy notices, data processing agreements and training of staff.

Representative Matters
  • Representation of an important publicly traded financial group holding company, a bank, a broker dealer, an insurance company and a manager of investment funds in its merger with one of the largest group holding entities, banks, broker dealers, insurance companies and managers or investment funds to create the second largest Mexican financial group
  • Advised Bladex in the registration in the Mexican Public Registry of Securities (Registro Nacional de Valores) of its debt securities to be issued under a program in the form of Certificados Bursátiles as well as in the first issuance and public offering of such a debt securities which were placed and publicly offered in the Mexican Stock Exchange (Bolsa Mexicana de Valores, S.A.B. de C.V.) on August 23, 2019
  • Advised a Mexican Real Estate company in the sale of their real estate portfolio and as lender in three guaranteed loans in order to finance the acquisition of said real estate portfolio
  • Representation of financial institution in the financing for the construction of industrial facilities
  • Advised financial institutions as lenders in a secured credit facility granted for an amount of MXN$4.5 million to repay existing debt and capex
  • Advised client in the hospitality and leisure sector in relation to a syndicated secured credit facility granted by Scotiabank Inverlat, for the construction of nine hotels
