Matt Larson is an Associate in the Federal Law & Policy group at DLA Piper, where he advises a diverse range of clients on issues relating to economic sanctions, CFIUS filings, U.S. Congressional and agency outreach, as well as energy and the environment. As part of his work, Matt regularly helps clients navigate new laws, regulations and policies to ensure they meet their legal compliance requirements, including through preparing regulatory filings and memoranda.
Matt earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where he graduated magna cum laude and was inducted into the Georgetown chapter of the Order of the Coif. While in law school, Matt interned at the U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil and Civil Rights Divisions.
