Devorah Lewin practices all aspects of commercial real estate development and finance and represents institutional investors, developers, lenders, borrowers and other business entities in transactions, including joint venture, acquisition and development, leasing, management, commercial finance, purchase and sale, and 1031 tax-deferred exchange transactions.

Her representation includes drafting and negotiating joint venture agreements, operating agreements, development agreements, purchase and sale contracts, management agreements, leases, finance documents, CC&Rs and reciprocal easement agreements.

  •  One of the nation's largest real estate investment advisors in joint ventures, acquisitions, dispositions and development projects in Maryland; New York; Washington, DC; and Virginia
  • A private equity real estate investment fund in the $41 million Phase I portion of joint development project in Baltimore County, Maryland
  • The owner in the sale of a 74-acre property in Queen Anne’s County, Maryland, to the State of Maryland for use by Department of Natural Resources
  • A nonprofit corporation in the acquisition, financing, subdivision and development of affordable housing project in Wicomico County, Maryland
  • A construction lender in providing $13 million New Markets Tax Credit financing for construction of mixed-use projects in Baltimore
  • A private investor in a 1031 exchange and financing of a shopping center acquisition
  • A private equity real estate investment fund in drafting and negotiating a declaration of covenants for a 238-acre business park in Baltimore County, Maryland
