Natalia Li has a diverse range of local and international corporate and M&A experience, having worked closely with other members of the national and international corporate team on numerous high-profile transactions.

Natalia advises clients on general corporate law, M&A and private equity, corporate re-organisations, joint-ventures and strategic partnerships, and works with early stage and mature companies in various industry sectors, including technology, telecommunications, infrastructure and financial services.

  • Advising Vauban Infrastructure Partners on the refinancing of Proxiserve, a leading French provider of energy-efficiency and smart-metering services.
  • Advising White Summit Capital on its EUR150m equity and debt investment in Powesco, a French provider of Energy-Efficiency-as-a-Service (ESCO) solutions.
  • Advising Société Générale Group on the creation of fleet-management joint ventures between its subsidiary ALD and Mitsubishi HC Capital in Malaysia and Thailand.
  • Advising a French multinational group on a strategic equity investment in its electric-mobility start-up by a leading French banking group.
  • Advising Altus Group, a global provider of software and services for commercial real estate, on the acquisition of Finance Active, a European SaaS provider of debt-management solutions.
  • Advising Carlyle and Montefiore funds on the sale of European Camping Group (formerly Homair Vacances) to PAI Partners.
  • Advising two infrastructure investment funds on the sale of Covage to a major French telecommunications group.
  • Advising a Chinese industrial investor on the creation of a mining joint venture in Guinea.
  • Advising an American conglomerate operating in aerospace, healthcare and energy on the global reorganization of its operations, involving the separation of its three businesses into standalone publicly listed companies.
  • Advising Hy24 Partners on its mixed equity and debt investment of EUR200m in HysetCo, a pioneer in hydrogen-mobility solutions.

Prior Experience

Natalia began her career in Moscow where she practiced as a litigation lawyer on commercial contracts. Prior to joining DLA Piper (February 2019) Natalia has gained significant experience in the Paris office of leading international law firms, including over three years in corporate department.
