Deanna is a banking and finance lawyer based in Singapore. She advises both sponsors/borrowers and financial institutions on a wide range of domestic and cross-border financings. In addition, Deanna has experience in advising on a range of international banking and finance matters including fund financing, export credit agency (ECA) backed lending, project financing in the renewables, satellite and data center space, and other areas of general banking and finance. She has experience working across the Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong and India markets.

  • Advised a leading Japanese financial institution on a capital call facility to two Cayman funds of China's largest financial services company.
  • Advised the sponsor and borrower in relation to USD2.67 billion financing and sale of a 50% stake in an offshore windfarm project in Taiwan which included financing from five ECAs and commercial banks.
  • Advised an alternative asset manager on the cross-border financing involving a working interest in an Indonesian production sharing contract.
  • Advised on a multi-jurisdictional upsized financing for the purchase of senior secured notes by a private investment firm to a leading software and technology provider for the global travel industry.
  • Advised on the financing to a Mauritian variable capital company sub-fund in connection with corporate restructuring of an Indian power company.
  • Advised a development finance institution on a financing to a petrochemical manufacturer based in Thailand.
  • Advised a Singapore bank on the financing and refinancing of two aircrafts.
