During law school Michael volunteered at the University of Victoria’s Law Centre, providing legal services to under-served clients in a variety of areas. He also volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada and worked as a peer tutor.

Michael summered and articled with the firm before joining as an associate in 2021.
