About
Josh Lustig is a litigator and registered patent agent who focuses his practice on patent litigation in federal district courts, the International Trade Commission (ITC), and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). He has experience with multiple technologies, including software, wireless communication protocols, semiconductors, distributed networks, machine learning, medical devices, and consumer electronics. In addition to his patent work, Josh has handled commercial litigation matters, conducted internal investigations, and supported M&A transactions.

Prior to joining DLA, Josh clerked for the Honorable Mary M. Rowland of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and worked for an international law firm in Chicago where he primarily represented clients in patent litigations at the ITC, district court, and the PTAB.

Before attending law school, Josh was a patent agent at an IP boutique in Chicago, where he prosecuted patents across a wide range of technology areas, including robotics, neural networks, consumer electronics, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
