Barbara Mace advises large multinational banks, working with senior professionals in the industry to guide them through the decision-making process related to cross-border pricing involving a large number of countries.

Prior to joining DLA Piper, she was a principal in Ernst & Young LLP’s Transfer Pricing group, part of the firm's International Tax Services team. Barbara has more than 28 years of experience in financial services transfer pricing, economic consulting and teaching as a college professor.

Prior Experience

Barbara served as an assistant professor of business economics at the School of Business at the University of Michigan. Barb has also taught economics and finance at the University of Chicago's MBA program as a graduate student, at the University of Rochester as a postdoctoral fellow and at the American University in Moscow as a visiting lecturer. As a transition from academia to the Big Four Accounting firms, Barb was at the National Economic Research Associates (NERA) as an economic consultant in securities. Her primary focus at NERA was securities litigation which entailed valuations of securities and companies.
