• Advised the placement agent and numerous institutional investors in the negotiation and issuance of approximately EUR1.4 billion value in USPP senior secured notes across eight varied euro and dollar series spanning multiple maturities.
• Advised senior lenders in respect of a ZAR4 billion working capital facility for a leading construction materials group in Southern Africa.*
• Advised a South African bank in relation to acquisition financing for the acquisition of shares by the borrower in a private company incorporated in South Africa.*
• Advised a South African lender, in respect of a USD60 million revolving credit facility made available to the borrower for its general corporate purposes.*
• Advised a leading South African private equity fund, in relation to funding for its participation in a rights issue provided to itself and various existing shareholders of a leading South African telecommunications company.*
• Advised a South African lender in relation to a USD40 million revolving credit facility made available to a leading South African private equity fund to fund it’s acquisition of various companies.*
• Advised a South African bank in relation to ZAR300 million revolving credit facility made available to a large South African medical technology company for the purpose of refinancing existing debt.*
