James Patrick McGraw

James McGraw focuses his practice on a variety of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, financings, life sciences transactions, private equity, and public and private securities offerings.

James advises clients on a broad array of transactions, including purchase agreements, catastrophe bonds, research and development agreements, clinical trial agreements, licenses, manufacturing and distribution agreements, marketing and promotional agreements, and product acquisitions and divestitures. Additionally, he counsels clients on various day-to-day matters, including professional services agreements and corporate governance activities.

James represents clients ranging from emerging growth companies to Fortune 500 companies in the US, Europe and Asia.

James has an active pro bono practice advising non-profit companies on various corporate matters, and he frequently teams with the Homeless Advocacy Project to resolve critical legal issues for the most under-represented members of our society. James also assists partners Lisa Jacobs and Jay Finkelstein in teaching the International Business Negotiations course at the University of Pennsylvania School of Law.
